FishVille Treasure Chests Introduced!
As soon as you will log in to play FishVille, a pop up like the one below will appear, announcing that you have a Treasure Chest in your gift box:In order to use it, you'll have to click the gift box and select the treasure chest, then place it anywhere in your first tank (you are not allowed to place the Treasure Chest anywhere but in the first tank!) Then click it and see how lucky you are. Here's what you can win from the Treasure Chest:
- experience points
- regular coins
- sand dollars
- rare fish
As you can see, I didn't strike lucky with my first try as I only received 17 XP points, but there's always tomorrow!

How to Get the Most Neighbors in FishVille
Neighbors in FishVille
Even if you’ve just started playing FishVille, you’re no doubt aware of how important it is to have a lot of neighbors. Your neighbors in FishVille can help you to succeed in quite a few different ways, and so any method that might have the potential to increase your neighbor total should not be overlooked. The more neighbors you have, the more gifts you’ll receive, and the more tanks you’ll be able to buy. You also shouldn’t overlook the importance of visiting your neighbors every day to help them out with their tanks. This is a great way to earn some coins on the side, and the more neighbors in FishVille you have, the more you’ll be able to earn this way.
Neighbor Sources
But where do you get all of these neighbors? Well, the best place to start is certainly your friend list. In fact, many of your friends may be playing the game already. To find out who these people might be, simply click on the Neighbors tab a the top of your screen and you’ll be able to immediately send a neighbor request to any of your friends who have already set up their own tanks. This may be a lot of people, or it may not. Either way, though, it’s a good place to start finding your neighbors in FishVille.
Recruitment
Of course, you probably have a lot of friends who aren’t already playing the game. Another easy way to swell the ranks of your neighbors quickly is to invite all of these people to play with you and be your neighbor. And, yes, you should invite everyone – even the people you think may be the least likely to play. You’ll often be surprised who the most enthusiastic players turn out to be, but you’ll never know if you don’t ask.
Forums
Once you’ve exhausted your friend list options for neighbors in FishVille, you don’t have to give up the search. There are actually a ton of forums and fan pages you can visit to hook up with other players looking for more neighbors to help them expand their aquatic empire. You can find these forums and fan pages by clicking on the Forums link at the bottom of your FishVille screen, or by simply searching for FishVille withing whatever social networking site you’re using to play the game. No matter how you find them though, these pages are a great resource to keep in mind – not only when you’re looking for neighbors, but whenever you have a question or concern about any aspect of game play.
Fishville Cheats - The Easy Road Ahead
There are some interesting fishville cheat tricks which are 100% legal and can be utilized as a secret guide to ace in the game. Such cheat tips help you to amass coins with very little effort. Let's see how to utilize cheats.
Show love and care to your fish, sell gifts given to you and thus earn a lot of money. One of the most useful fishville cheat tip is to buy fish which grows up in a very short span of time, so that you can sell them soon enough to earn money. Try and sell them as soon as they turn 4 years old. Easy ways to earn points include buying eggs. For example you can buy a shy hamlet for 35 coins and gain 15 XP; on the other hand the scooter blenny will cost you 88 coins but will bring in 29XP. Therefore the key lies in buying the more expensive fish if you have the requisite coins in hand.
You can of course decorate your tank with any loose cash you see lying around but not at the expense of buying fish though. This will earn you XP's and the bonus or points are proportionate to the amount you spend on the decorations. Try to invest in a bigger tank soon enough because this would mean lots more fish and this again will increase your XP. Visiting a friend to help clean up their tank or giving away gifts to them can also increase your points which will come in the form of coins or XP. But you can only help a friend once each day.
Make sure you raise fish which will fetch you more than your initial investment so each time you decide to unlock a fish you need to evaluate its profitability because a new option may not be the answer to more coins all the time.
Another fishVille cheat tip is to concentrate on sardines which grow to junior level in 3minutes and reach adult phase in 10 minutes, then proceed to sell them to earn experience bonus.
You can use cheat engine to get lots of fishville money coins. The process involves making a 'First Scan' in Cheat Engine with the value of the coins in your hand. Secondly you need to spend some money in fishville and then go back for a second scan for the value of coins in hand at present after spending. Repeat the process until there are only a few addresses left and one of these addresses represents your coins in game. You need to change the value of the addresses to any figure of your choice and then freeze it, lo and behold! That value now represents your coins in fishville.

FishVille Hibernator Introduced – What Is It?
Upon logging in to FishVille, I was notified (as you can see in the image, click to enlarge) by Zynga that I had received a 2 Day Hibernator as a gift. Their short explanation was that hibernators freeze our fish while we’re away. Ouch!
However, that’s not as painful as it might sound at first – that’s what I found out after digging a bit to see what is the FishVille hibernator. It is an item that, once activated, slows all the fish in a tank so they can’t get hungry or die until the time is up. This means that if I activate my gift – the 2 day hibernator – none of my fish will get hungry for 48 hours! The good thing is that you can sell the hibernator to the market once you log back in and get money for the unused time, or simply pause it to keep playing while you’re in the tank.
If you wonder how to use the hibernator, it’s simple: simply click your gift box and then the Use button on the hibernator. Don’t forget that you can one use it in a specific tank and you can’t move it from one to another!
Are there more hibernators? Yes, they are and you can purchase them from the FishVille market. There are two hibernators available at the moment:

FishVille Hibernator promises fewer dead fish
The hibernators can only be purchased with the premium Sand Dollars, which means you'll have to spend some real-life cash to procure one of these new gizmos. Hibernators come in two types - the three-day hibernator and the luxury six-day hibernator and cost 15 ($3 value) and 25 ($5) Sand Dollars respectively.
Too bad the FishVille Hibernator didn't arrive before people took off for their holiday break -- you can bet many will return to a tank full of dead fish.

The Hibernators on the first two items. You'll need to use Sand Dollars to buy them so they will cost $3 and $5 for the three day or six day models.

Nice deal that you can get a refund for the unused time.
